The ski resort Kleine Scheidegg/Männlichen – Grindelwald/Wengen is the primary ski area in Wengen. The ski resort is about 0.2 kilometres from the village centre. The Jungfrau Region includes Wengen (Switzerland, Espace Mittelland, Bern, Bernese Oberland). Skiers and snowboarders can choose from four ski resorts in the Jungfrau Region. There are 24 ski lifts and 102 kilometres of slopes. The winter sports area is located between 944 and 2,320 m above sea level. 70% of the slopes have artificial snowmaking capability. Grindelwald Grund and Wengen are accessible through valley runs, with several having snowmaking capability. On the Kleine Scheidegg, the valley run to Wengen begins. It is not possible to ski from the Männlichen to Wengen. Lauterbrunnen does not have a valley run.

The Jungfraubahn lift connects the Kleine Scheidegg and Eiger Glacier stations with the Jungfraujoch, Europe’s highest train station at 3,454 m, via the Eiger and Mönch (Top of Europe). The Sphinx Observatory, at 3,571 m, is the tallest and most recognizable structure on the Jungfraujoch. From here, you can see the Aletsch Glacier and the Bernese Oberland.
