Arinsal

Overview

Lively and fun ski resort Arinsal offers bargain package skiing holidays combined with duty free in-resort prices. Lift-linked with neighbouring Pal, both are known collectively as the Vallnord ski area. Following fresh investment and a recent makeover, the entire area now benefits from brand-spanking new modern lifts, snow canons and gondolas. British-dominated Arinsal attracts group skiers due to its hedonistic atmosphere and village rustic charm. Family skiers favour the ski resort for its ski school geared towards British needs.

Skiing in Arinsal

The lovely big wide-open slopes mainly attract beginner skiers and snowboarders to Arinsal . Progressing intermediates will find a fair range of difficulty in Arinsal, with more varied and challenging terrain on the Pal and Arcalis slopes. Advanced skiers looking for a challenge should head to the longest black run in Andorra, ‘Le Devesa’.

By purchasing the Andorra Le Vella lift pass on your skiing holiday, you’ll be given access to the entire Andorra skiing area. This includes the Grandvalira ski area encompassing Soldeu, El Tarter and Pas de la Casa, although you will need a car to get around to those other popular villages.

Snowboarding in Arinsal

The ‘Les Fonts’ boardpark boasts an 110m half pipe and boarder cross  sat alongside rails to fly down and kickers to jump off.  Freeriders should start off in Arinsal, then progress to the pretty tree-lined blues Pal has to offer.
